A flock of crows is called a murder. I made a murder. I started with a single crow that I made by hand. While the clay was wet, I made a mold of the head. Once I figured out how to slip cast the head, I made one crow every couple of days. After it was out of the mold, I cut it apart and reassembled it differently so that the crows could interact with one another. I love them all together!
This piece is Raku fired. The surface is a living surface and is effected by UV light. To keep it as close as possible to the current surface, keep it away from direct sunlight.
